Spreading Japanese Plum Yew
This is a hardy, evergreen shrub prized for its lush, dark green needles and graceful, spreading habit. Unlike upright yews, this low-growing variety features horizontal branching and dense foliage, making it ideal for use as a ground cover, border plant, or under shady trees. Its tolerance for shade, heat, and humidity makes it a reliable choice for Southern gardens.
This slow-growing conifer adds rich texture and year-round interest to both formal and naturalistic landscapes. Deer resistant and drought tolerant once established, it thrives in well-drained soil.
