The Hawaiian Ti is a perennial tropical - grown outdoors year round in Zones 10-12. Outdoors in Florida, coastal South Carolina, southern Texas, Southern California - it grows year-round as a true perennial. In colder areas, it must be brought inside during fall/winter or it will die from frost.
